Family Matters: Analyzing the Story and Endings of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 - Mr. P Talks About Stuff: Episode 04

At the end of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, players are faced with a profound decision, one which has divided many players. Both choices have major implications for the fate of the world and carry with them their own set of moral decisions. Is there a right ending though? Are both choices equally valid and morally symmetrical? Is one of the main characters the true villain or are players misunderstanding the point of the story? Could I possibly have covered this in far less time? We'll look at all of these issues as I provide my own analysis of the endings of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and how they flow naturally from the larger narrative. (I mistakenly noted that Moriarty returned in season 3, it was season 6. Missed that typo.)
